.....usually, you have up to six years to bring a claim against your solicitor for a failure in their professional duty (professional negligence).
There are some exceptions and we are happy to discuss these without cost. However, you should get in touch as soon as possible. The rules governing challenges to solicitor costs are complex and there is generally a shorter time frame in which you can do this.
Cost - It may be possible to fund professional negligence claims using legal expenses insurance (if you have it) or via a ‘no win no fee’ agreement with us. Legal aid is available in appropriate cases.
As a rule we are not usually able to help if the claim is for less than £10,000. However, there are exceptions and we are always happy to discuss individual situations and circumstances.
